Richard W. Rosenquist, M.D.

Richard W. Rosenquist
"Pain medicine and regional anesthesia are becoming a larger and larger portion of anesthesia practice throughout the world. At the same time there is increasing pressure to control the practice of medicine based on cost rather than patient satisfaction or outcome. It is imperative that we are aware of the existing data to support our practices. We must continue to develop the knowledge needed to guide our practice in the future. The result of this must be treatment regimens that are based on reasonable outcomes so that we are not accused of practicing on the basis of financial return alone. In addition, we must be able to identify the outlines so that we do not try to treat individuals with a regimen that will not work from the start"
