"The excitement of anesthesiology lies in its interdisciplinary nature.
Although considerable attention has been devoted to the fiscal and organizational
aspects of U.S. healthcare, there has never been a better time to rethink
AND IMPLEMENT the best practices of patient care and resource allocation.
This can be most effectively led by professionals who understand: (a)
the highest standards of clinical practice; (b) innovations in science
and technology; and, (c) contemporary organizational management. My goal
is to actively contribute to the process of merging these critical components
such that our collective contributions to healthcare will be a growing
source of pride within and outside our specialty." |
